About Me
Hello! My name is Janneth Lopez.

I graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 2026 with my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies while obtaining my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential within the UTEACH Program.

I want to be a teacher because I want my students to learn in an inclusive environment where they are valued and seen. My main goal as a teacher is for my students to know they are cared for in a safe space and excited to learn. My philosophy as a teacher is centered on building meaningful connections with my students. I believe that strong relationships build a trusting and welcoming environment. By building these connections, I am able to create meaningful learning experiences by connecting it to my students interests and assets.

My passion for education began in high school through a Regional Occupational Program called Careers with Children. During this program, I learned about child development and completed an internship at a school site. This program inspired me to pursue a career in teaching. I recently got to student teach at a Title I School for the entirety of the 2025-2026 school year. Within my student teaching experience, I learned how to foster students interests within lesson plans and build relationships with students, staff, and families.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy scrapbooking, playing my ukulele, singing, and exploring nature. I love incorporating my interests of music and art into my classroom to create memorable learning experiences.
